PYRAMID IN THE SOUTH MadeWithBalloons™
This pyramid got pushed so far south that it ended up in Australia. That is a long way from Egypt. But, it was very well received.
Rouse Matrix™ Builders were used to hold the balloons in place. And, despite the appearance of the double-ended balloons in the camel and the trees, the pyramid was loaded with round balloons.
Now we know how to use double-ended balloons like Link-O-Loons™ and Quick Link Balloons™ to make the project easier and faster while producing a pyramid that is stiffer and more secure..
The Rouse patented, “EASY” way of filling out designs like this pyramid is to tie the neck of two, double-ended balloons together. Currently, the most popular brands of double-ended balloons are “Link-O-Loons™” and Quick Link Balloons™”. Then tie the opposite ends together. Next, push one of the pair through an appropriate opening in the balloon grid. Repeat this process until you have filled out each of the triangular sides. Then, join the triangles along the edges.
The loading technique is so easy that we have had children as young as 8 years and a spunky neighbor of 94 produce great results with it.
Another advantage of this approach is that the triangular panels will be much thicker and stiffer that a standard single layer approach. That can be especially helpful in panels of balloons that span large spaces while tilted from vertical as are the sides of the pyramid.

The Rouse patented, “FAST” way of filling the pyramid triangles is to tie strings of double-ended balloons together. Load the balloons of each string into a row of adjacent openings in the balloon frame.
With a little practice, you will likely double or quadruple your loading speed. With even more practice you might approach our current world record of 52 balloons in 45 seconds. Yes, 45 seconds. That is a rate of over 4,000 balloons loaded per hour!
This approach does sacrifice the stiffness of the double bubbles, but it is much faster and uses only half the number of balloons.
The Rouse “FAST” method has another advantage as well. Since each balloon is anchored on both ends to another balloon, each balloon is more secure and less likely to get knocked out or drop out of place accidentally.
